He Changling

He Changling (1785-1848), whose courtesy name was Ougeng and literary names were Naien and Xiya . He was born in Shanhua (which is called Changsha nowadays), Hunan. He was a famous official in Qing Dynasty. Before he passed the higest imperial examination, he had studied in Chengnan Academy. [See page 1737 ofCihai(1999 compact edition ) for more details.]
