On the morning of July 5th, the ceremony for the commencement of HNFNU 2021 Summer Program of Volunteering in Rural Areas, and for the donation from the Fellowship of Hunan Distributors of Kweichow Moutai, was held at the gymnasium on the Dongfanghong Campus. Among those who attended the event were University leaders Luo Chengyi, Tong Xiaojiao, Jiang Rong and Zhao Xiaoqun , and executives of the Kweichow Moutai Sales Co., Ltd. and its fellowship of Hunan distributors.
Vice president Jiang Rong said in her remarks that HNFNU had received many awards for the volunteering program, including the Best University for Summer Practice Activities for many times, and many HNFNU teams had been awarded titles such as the Best Team for Practice Activities and Excellent Team for Practice Activities. These awards showed not only the brand image of the volunteering program but also the enthusiasm for volunteering and responsibility of HNFNU’s faculty and students.
Yigui Gong, Hunan regional manager of Kweichow Moutai Sales Co., Ltd , promised that he would donate 100,000 yuan per year to HNFNU’s summer volunteering program for the next three years, a gesture of helping students get well educated and making contributions for the society.
In the witness of the audience，the Fellowship of Hunan Distributors of Kweichow Moutai signed an agreement with HNFNU. President Tong Xiaojiao accepted the donations on behalf of the university. To wrap up the ceremony, the leaders and guests jointly conferred on the members of the volunteering team flags of glory that symbolize the start of their journey.
