HNFNU held its 2021 Collegiate Programming Contest from June 5th to 6th. The contest was hosted by the Academic Affairs Office and organized by the School of Information Science and Engineering of HNFNU. A total of 60 students from the School of Information Science and Engineering and the School of Mathematics and Computer Science participated in this competition.
The contest mainly tested the abstract thinking of the participants and their comprehensive application of professional knowledge such as data structure, algorithm analysis and design, programming, etc. The HNFNU Online Judging System developed by the school itself was adopted, which could check the answers automatically and display the rankings in real time to ensure fairness. The contest lasted 3 hours, and 39 students made it to the final.
The final was held on June 6th. After fierce competition, Heng Zhou and Lilan Liao, both sophomores majoring in computer science and technology, won the first prize. The second prize was awarded to Jianhui Zhu, another sophomore majoring in computer science and technology, and Weihao Zhu, a freshman majoring in communication engineering. Yupeng He and Depeng Zhou, a sophomore and a freshman majoring in computer science and technology, were given the third prize.
