Academician of Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics Visits HNFNU

On the afternoon of April 10th, Boling Guo, a famous applied mathematician, academician of China Scientific Academy, and researcher of Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics, visited HNFNU and was met by faculty members and students of the Mathematics & Computer School and Chengnan Academy.

In his remarks, Prof. Guo highly praised HNFNU’s achievements in development and modification of academic programs, and its unique feature of talent cultivation, after being briefed on the department of Mathematics.

In the Q&A session, Prof. Guo offered detailed answers to the questions raised by the audience about their teaching, research, study, ect. He further encouraged the the faculty members to keep on doing well both in research and teaching, and advised the students to explore their interests and study hard so as to become excellent teachers in the future.
