On December 27th ,the Final Competition and Award Presentation Ceremony of the first Chinese Classic Poetry Reading Competition for students in all level was held in Hunan Educational television Station.The students of HFNU won the third prize.
This competition was sponsored by Language Work Committee and Education Department of Hunan province and organized by Hunan Language and Writing Training and Testing Center, Hunan Association of Language Workers and Hunan Educational Television Station.The competition,with the theme of “Create poetic campus, Realize the dream of China ”. It aims at cultivating students’ ability of properly using Chinese characters and fostering self-consciousness of standardizing national general language (Mandarin and Standard Chinese Characters) and carrying forward the Chinese excellent culture by reading Chinese classic poems and essays.
Tian Lixin (the director of Department of Language Application Management and the Language Information Management Division) and Jiang Changhong (the Party secretary of Hunan Provincial Education Department , Secretary of Hunan Provincial Education and Industry Commission and deputy director-general) gave the awards to winners.
