HFNU Commemorates Mao Zedong’s 124th Birthday

The day of December 26^th ,2017 , is Mao Zedong’s 124^th birthday. Mao Zedong is an outstanding schoolfellow of HFNU, who is a great leader of Chinese People of all Ethnic Groups and a major founder of the Chinese Communist Party,the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and the People’s Republic of China. HFNU holds a simple and solemn commemorative ceremony in front of the bronze statue of young Mao Zedong at Chengnan Academy.

The ceremony began at 8:28am.The leaders of HFNU presented a flower basket to the statue and all the people present bowed with reverence three times to it to express their admiration.  Then HFNU’s commentators read Mao’s poem Qingyuanchun to cherish the memory of him.The young pioneers from the NO.1 Primary School Attached to HFNU, made a vow showing their determination to be aggressive and diligent. Peng Xiaoqi and all the Party members went over the CCP Oath.The ceremony ended with the anthem of HFNU.

This ceremony is aimed at cherishing the memory of Mao, leading all the HFNU teachers and students to inherit the school’s good tradition and inspiring their patriotic enthusiasm.
