The 2026 Student Club Culture and Arts Festival at Hunan First Normal University came to a close on the evening of May 9 at Tianhan Theater on Dongfanghong Campus.
Themed “A Splendid Chapter of HNFNU, The Charm of Hunan Culture”, the festival brought together student clubs to showcase youth talent and celebrate local heritage. More than 1,000 students and faculty representatives attended.
The performance was divided into three parts. The first chapter, “Hunan Charm: Setting Sail”, featured traditional Chinese dance, national style fashion shows, and classical dance, highlighting the beauty of Hanfu, calligraphy, and blue‑and‑white porcelain.
The second chapter, “Club Colors: Flowing Glory”, presented street dance, guitar singing, and trendy fashion shows, reflecting the energy and confidence of today’s college students.
The third chapter, “Splendid Chapter: Shining Together”, focused on patriotism and social responsibility. A poetry recital praised Hunan’s cultural spirit and the university’s revolutionary tradition, while a sign‑language performance expressed compassion and care.
The festival served as a key platform for student development, cultural education, and ideological guidance. The university says it will continue to support high‑quality club activities, helping students build character and pursue their dreams through artistic and practical experiences.
