HNFNU Students Win Prize at National Games Dragon & Lion Dance Event

A team comprising four HNFNU students from the 2023 Wushu class and four students from Hunan Normal University, coached by Cui Jianbiao from HNFNU, won the third prize at the Mass Dragon and Lion Dance Exhibition finals of the 15th National Games. The event took place in Foshan, Guangdong, from November 11 to 14.

The Hunan team’s energetic performance and seamless coordination earned them recognition among 18 participating teams from across the country. This was the first time dragon and lion dance was included as a mass exhibition event at the National Games. This event was jointly organized by the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance Sports Association, and hosted by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
