On September 28th, the Vice President, Jiang Zhengyun, accompanied by some teachers, went to the 11th HN Provincial University Games spot to visit the athletes and coaches of HFNU.
Firstly, Jiang zhengyun visited the their dorms and had a cordial talk with them, praising athletes for their fearlessness of hardship and tenacious spirit and encouraging them to relax themselves to face the fierce competition to play their best and show the elegant demeanors of HFNU.
Afterward, Jiang Zhengyu reached the game site ,and watched some matches, such as women’s basketball team,men’s basketball team and men’s 400m hurdles of HFNU ,to cheer on the athletes.
The provincial university game is held every four years. This year was organized by Hunan University of Technology.
HFNU attaches great importance to the competition, diapatching a team composed of 118 athletes and 19 coaches. The team included nine different sports and won 13 gold, 7 sliver and 11 bronze medals, locating in the third place of medal ranking present.
