Water Rhyme and Silk Whisper was elaborately created by Changsha Arts Research Institute. In this performance, Biannao, an important instrument in Shang Dynasty, was played with western instruments like the oboe for Liuyang River and the Blue Danube. It means that Chinese and western cultures entwined with each other, and East Asia and Europe cooperated closely. With this, we would jointly write a new chapter of “One Belt and One Road”. Meanwhile, the stage was divided into three parts, respectively showing the art of tea ceremony, porcelain rings making and Hunan embroidery. The performance contained the modern styles and the traditional characters, showing the profound and abundant Chinese cultures and the distinctive characteristics of Xiang Chu culture( In Hunan, integrating the essence of Chinese culture and the culture of Chu ).
