Foreign Language School holding etiquette knowledge lecture

May 4th, School of Foreign Language invited Li Ling— National Senior Etiquette Teacher and Professor of Business School—to make an etiquette knowledge lecture “Having A Date With Beauty”, which aims at strengthening students’ etiquette, breeding their healthy and positive spirituality. Professor Li points out the importance of first impression in human interaction, explaining through looks, appearance and deportment the means to shape and enhance external temperament. She introduces dressing costume’s TPO principle: select appropriate clothes according to time, place and purpose. She also talks of women’s suit, men’s business suit and Chinese traditional clothing, expecting students to inherit Chinese traditional culture. Finally, Professor Li teaches students how to behave elegantly, politely and decently in social situations through eyes, smile, standing, sitting, walking, squatting, greeting and so on. This lecture of etiquette knowledge is an important part of moral education of foreign language school, which makes students understand the importance of civilized etiquette better and strengthen their consciousness to standardize their own behavior.
