On April 8th, Ragnar Baldursson (Icelandic embassy Minister) visits the Hunan First Normal School Momorial Museum where Mao Zedong studied, along with Miu Hua the deputy secretary and deputy director of party comment of the Foreign Affairs Office of Changsha city.The curator ,Ai Jianling and the deputy curator Liu Liyong played host to him and accompanied him on the visit.
Mr.Bauderson is a China expert, who can speak fluent Chinese and has deep understanding of Mao and traditional Chineseculture.He was invited by the government of Changsha to have a business investigation,but this is not the first time that he came to Changsha.When he was an international student at Beijing University in 1976,he had been to our school.This time visiting the old place makes him surprised and delighted.Mr.Baldursson visited the major memorial spots and memorial museum in our school's former site with great interest, listened to the exposter's introduction carefully, asked questions about history and exchanged ideas of Maoism and Marxism in China.Mr.Ragnar happily visited the major memorial place and hall in school site,he carefully listening explanation of the narrator and enquried something related histories ,communicated about the Mao Zedong's thoughts and Marxim in China.Before leaving,Baldursson showed gratitude to the museum staffs' hospitable reception and looked forward to a future that our school receiving students from Iceland for further studies.
