In the evening of November 28th, the closing and reward ceremony of the Seventh Dormitory Culture Festival was held in the experimental theatre of science and technology building in Hunan First Normal University, marking an ending to the one-month festival.
Staff members from Office of Students’ Affairs, Youth League Committee, Tianchuang property and Students’ Management Office, whose number standing at 500, were invited and watched the party. The purposes of the festival are guiding college students to regard dormitory as main front, strengthening everyday management and team spirit of dormitory, enriching cultural life of dormitory, creating a safe, civilized, comfortable and harmonious environment of life and study and contributing to integrate ideological and political education with quality-oriented education for college students.
During the cultural festival, the university organized a series of activities: The video design contest“ Most beautiful of you in dormitory”, the DIY creation contest“Fall in love, pass bag”, the design contest “See HNFU, point to the future”, the selection of best property and so on. With strict evaluations, 122 dormitories and 94 students were awarded. Students did not only show splendid dormitory cultural works but also presented art performances showing students’ good spirit in the closing ceremony.
