Pi Xirui

Pi Xirui (1850-1908), whose courtesy name was Lumen,was born in Shanhua (present-day Changsha),Hunan.He was the scholar of Classical Studies in Qing dynasty. From 1903 to 1906, Pi worked as a teacher of Classical Studies in Hunan First Normal School [See page 2185 ofCihai(1999 compact edition) for more details.]
