Li Da

Li Da (1890-1966), whose literary name was Heming, was born in Lingling (now called Yong Zhou), Hunan. He was a Chinese philosopher and pioneer of spreading Marxism in China. From the summer of 1923 to that of 1926, Li Da took up a position of teaching sociology in Hunan First Normal School.[see page 1525 ofCihai(1999 compact edition)for more details].
