HNFNU celebrated the 116th International Women’s Day on March 9 with a special event for female faculty and staff. Organized by the university’s labor union, the gathering featured traditional paper cutting and flower arranging workshops.
Vice President Jiang Rong, who also heads the labor union, extended warm greetings on behalf of the university leadership, acknowledging the significant contributions of women to the institution. Participants then engaged in creative sessions, crafting intricate paper cuts and beautiful floral arrangements under the guidance of instructors.
University Council Chair Li Gang visited the event, interacting with attendees and admiring their creations. He encouraged the women to integrate their personal growth with the university’s development and to continue contributing their talents to both their families and careers.
Participants described the event as a relaxing and uplifting experience that strengthened bonds within the “Happy HNFNU” community.
