From October 12th to 16th, the 11th National Undergraduate Innovation Enterprise Annual Conference was held in Xiamen.
The paper，The Impact of the Rural Teacher Support Plan on Non-public-funded Oriented Normal Students and its Coping Strategies, is instructed by Professor Liu Shuxin of the school of literature and Journalism and written by Zhou Ying. It is elected as one of the representatives of HN after evaluation and recommendation by the Provincial Department Education. Finally, it won the Excellent Paper Award through scene reply as the only winner of HN.
The Annual Conference is an important annual activity sponsored by the Ministry of Education and based on national College Students Innovation and Entreprenurship Training Plan .It is one of the most widely covered, influential, student-participated and high-level events in the undergraduate teaching reform of colleges in China. The selected excellent papers is recommended by schools ,evaluated by provinces ,and finally reviewed by experts of National Creation Plan to see if they can be admitted to the annual meeting to do a scene reply.
The whole evaluation process lasted for several months. And the competition was very fierce. There were 176 papers admitted to the final, but only 20 papers selected as excellent paper.
It is not easy for Zhou Ying to be unanimously recognized by experts and preeminent in the national double-class universities. To our delight, she dispayed stably at the defense scene, fully demonstrating the elegant demeanor of HFNU students.
In recent years, HFNU have attached great importance to innovative entrepreneurship education for college students, encouraged undergraduates to actively participate in Research-based Learning and innovative experimental projects, and appointed excellent teachers to guide students in scientific research. In 2018, 24 projects in HFNU were recognized as the provincial projects, and 10 projects were awarded as national level projects. By participating in the project research, students' research level and innovation ability have been improved greatly.
