Library Conducts Freshmen by Lecture "Library Visit"

On October 15th，dozensoffreshmenlistenedto a lecture about"LibraryVisit"in the library.The lecturer introduced the general situation of the library,the resource status and service functions of each work site in detail, andchiefly demonstrated the use of several mobile terminal equipment, such as Goethe electronic lending machine, andconductedfreshmento find books, borrow books,andreserve a seatofstudy roometc.This is the twentiethfreshmanclass to attend the lecture.

"LibraryVisit"is a new activity of library entry education this year. The students of Lize Reader Association acted as thelecturer. The education not only helps freshmen to quickly know the resource layout and basic services of the library, but also pass the library entry test and open the borrowing function of campus card.So far, 1,604 freshmen have taken the entry test. In addition to the"LibraryVisit"and"library entry test", the library also offers a series of special lectures for freshmen to enter the library. To meet the deeper service needs of readers,the libraryeffectively enhances freshmen’understanding and interest of the library, and plays the role of the "second class" .
