Lecture for Freshmen from President Tong

On September 9th, a lecture for freshmen is hosted at TianHan theatre by Education and Science School, Mathematics and Computer Science School. President Tong is a main lecturer. About 1000 freshmen attend the special lecture.

President Tong introduces the history of the HFNU from the following three parts: brief introduction, current situation and characteristics of running school and developmental vision. "HFNU is a weighty book which deserves to be read, appreciated and handed down", She says. She also stresses that the three most important things in life are learning, ambition and family. At last, she sincerely hopes that every student of HFNU will make a lofty goal to fulfill the mission, and to be an ideal, promising young man in the new era!

This lecture enriches the freshmen's recognition of the glorious history of HFNU, enhances theirsense of pride and mission, and starts a new voyage for the freshmen.
