On behalf of the two committees of the Bai Ni Village and the Party committee of the Heye Town, in which they had been lifted out of the poverty with the help of HFNU, they sent a silk banner to the school leader, printed with "the Great Man's alma mater warms our hearts,and helps the Bai Ni village with the true feelings ".
At the meeting, Long Qiaoyun, mayor' assistant of Heye Town, on behalf of the town party committee government, firstly expressed his gratitude for the school's support and financial assistance to the poor masses and the majority of villagers over the past three years. He said that without the help between counterparts of HFNU, we would never think about the dream of getting out of poverty. Now the road is clear, the street lamp is light up, the industry has developed and the villagers have become richer and more active.
Peng pointed out that the banner is an affirmation to our work and a reflection of our strong friendship. Congratulations to the village that it has succeed in getting rid of poverty by targeted poverty reduction for three years. In this regard, three hopes are put forward: the first hope, Bai Ni Village will continue to strengthen the consciousness of " Poor but proud , rich by hands". With this, they should change their minds and open their entrepreneurial thinking to encourage poor masses to get rid of poverty and become rich. The second is to consolidate the current poverty reduction achievements, further expand the scale of industrial development, and develop collective economy in the village. Thirdly, we hope to strengthen the connection between the village and HFNU. In the future, the school will pay more attention to the development of various industries in the village for a long time. We expect that the village could make great efforts to enlarge industrial scale, improve quality of products, and increase the income of the villagers so as to lead people into a moderately prosperous life.
In the past three years, HFNU has totally invested about 6.2 million yuan. Because of its outstanding achievements, the poverty reduction by HFNU has been popularized for many times. The Loudi Municipal Committee and the Shuangfeng County Committee have also given recognition to the school's poverty alleviation work many times, and have sent thanks letters to the school.
