HFNU Labor Union Celebtates Women's Day with Arts

On the afternoon of March 7^th, the tea ceremony lecture was held in the Tea Lounge of Yuheng Building with the theme of black tea tasting. Mao Chenlan, a professor of the Business School, introduced the basic knowledge about tea culture from origin, types and effects and put emphasis on the black tea. There are two students showed the procedure of making black tea and more than 70 female teachers also participated in this activity.

On the afternoon of March 8th, Lv Ziwei, a professor of the Arts and Design School, gave a lecture about ikebana with the theme of Chinese ikebana and barrel-shaped flower and introduced the procedure and methods of flower arrangement. Sun Xiaohong, the director of Female Staff of Hunan Education Union, also visited the activity on invitation and enjoyed learning ikebana. It is said that on the afternoon of March 9^th, there will be a lecture about teacher’s image and etiquette for female staff.

These activities satisfied the needs of female teachers, created a great festival atmosphere and expressed the sincere concern to the female teachers who will take more active attitudes and positive spirits to devote themselves to the construction and development of the university.

Women's Day celebration was co-organized by the branch union of the School of Marxism Study and the Business School.
