On December 29th night, the new year gala was held in the grand theater of Dongfanghong Campus. The heads of provincial offices and bureaus, Yi Miaoying the guest professor of our school, the excellent alumni Pu Qing and over 1500 teachers and students attended the show.
Before the show, a video was played to demonstrate our works in 2015. The year of 2015 is a perfect ending year to our development agenda of the 12thfive-year plan. With strong leadership of school party and administration, teachers and students strive for the best in accordance with the “Three Stricts and Three Steadies” requirements.
Our school received evaluation from Education Ministry on teaching work in 2015. Experts gave us high approval of characteristics and effects of school running. It is good for our school to lay a solid foundation to further enhance the school strength. At the same time, the year was a milestone in the history of the development of our school. 2015 was a successful year of school teaching and scientific research. Teachers and students participated in lots of competitions and got 48 national awards and over 130 provincial awards. Social science and natural science funding projects got a full harvest.
The evening party started with dance “Kai Menhong” showed by six-year government-subsidized formal education students. “I am a happy singer” showed by pupils affiliated elementaryschool of Hunan First Normal University demonstrated the affiliated school’s teaching achievements in recent years.Professional dance teachers Zhou Miao, Li Qi, Chen Nan and Xie Wei performed “Ji.Yi”. Instrumental music professional teachers Liu Zhao, Bi QiongWen and Tan Na showed the instrumental trio “Waltz”. Folk music teachers Zhou Fang, Liu Jia, Yang Dan and Zuo Qian showed new folk music “Kangding New Song”. A young teacher Guo Zheng showed sax solo “the Spanish Bull”. Professional piano teachers Zhou Ying, Fan XiaoHuan, Tan Na and Bi Qiongwen showed piano eight hands “Champagne Toccata” “The Shining Star of Gallup”. Senior teachers of vocal music in our school Xu Biao and Yin ShiLin showed male and female voices two duet “I Like a Snow Flake from the Sky”. Excellent young vocal music teacher Xiao Bing, Yang Sisi, Hu Wei and Liu Jiarong sang classical songs such as “The Flower is Just
Ready to Burst” and “Red Flowers”. Yang Sisi who has sang songs on CCTV as a soprano showed female solo “Farewell Time” amazed all people there. She gave full play to the role of professional teacher demonstration leading role, highlighting the professional characteristics of Art Education. Professional dancer student Zuo Wanting had a dance solo “Look at the Clouds”. Xiao Yan and
some other people showed female magpie dance “Cha Cha Cha”. Student street dance club showed “Renascence” and they demonstrated our university students cultural arts club’s improvement. Finally, the children coming from the second affiliated elementaryschool of Hunan First Normal University showed “The Happiness of Spicy”. The atmosphere was warm, happy and joyful. They brought the happiness to audience and promote the party atmosphere to a climax again.
New year has come. We bid farewell to 2015 with success and happiness; spring comes and we promise to meet in 2016 with expectations and eagerness. Let us work together to forge ahead. We should meet the school’s first party congress with new attitude, and strive to add new brilliance!
