First speech contest of our school held

In the evening of November 4th，in an effort to show the spirit of Long March，the speech contest which the theme of “enshrine the history and establish moral character”held at the studio of science building.

The final competition was divided into topic speech and impromptu speechparts.Eleven competitors in the final round delivered their speeches in different styles with confidence,which impressed judges and audience.According to the grades of the first round,the top five competitors got into the next round. In the second round，competitors got their topics at random and start their impromptu speeches. Their calm and logical expression won them applauses from audience.

Finally,LuoLifrom theSchool ofMathematics andComputationalScience won the championship,HuangYuting fromBusinessSchool wasthe runner-up,LiJing from theSchool ofLiterature andJournalism won the thrid,ZhangJingjing from theSchool ofMathematics andComputationalScience andZhuLizhi fromSchool ofEducation andScience won the best styletitle.According to the awards of the students, teacherFanLi got the title of champion lector and teacherWenXiaoni andXiaoYanwerethe excellentadvisors.

This keynote speech contest was agreatpractice to improve language ability of young students and promote the spirit of theLongMarch.

Contestants showednot onlytheir highspeechlevel,but also their positive spirit, which makes the spirit of Long March deepen into hearts of students.
